Registration

The nippers season runs from mid October through to March, the first day of nippers for 2016-2017 is on:

Sunday 16th October, 2016 @ 9am.


Registration for the 2016/2017 season opens on Sunday 11th September.

Club Registration dates for the 2016/2017 season are:

Sunday 11th September, 2016 10am - 1pm @ Club House (existing member renewals)

Sunday 18th September, 2016 10am - 1pm @ Club House (new members to club registration)

Please note: Age numbers will be capped this season!


All children must be registered prior to taking part in beach activities.

Boys and girls aged from 5 to 13 are eligible to join.

Listed below are the age groups members will be in for the 2016/2017 season if they are born between the following dates:

1st October 2002 to 30th September 2003 - U/14
1st October 2003 to 30th September 2004 - U/13
1st October 2004 to 30th September 2005 - U/12
1st October 2005 to 30th September 2006 - U/11
1st October 2006 to 30th September 2007 - U/10
1st October 2007 to 30th September 2008 - U/9
1st October 2008 to 30th September 2009 - U/8
1st October 2009 to 30th September 2010 - U/7
1st October 2010 to 30th September 2011 - U/6

New child members must provide a copy of their birth certificate for proof of identity.

You will be asked to complete an application form for each member of your family. All parents who are volunteering will be requested to fill in a Child Protection form.

Membership fees for 2016-17

$140 - family with 1 child.
$170 - family with 2 children
$30 - each extra child

Please note: If you are renewing from last season, your pre-filled renewal form will be available to pick up on Registration Day.

Payment by cash, cheque or Eftpos now available.

It is a Surf Life Saving Australia requirement that all children wear hi-vis rashies for all surfclub activities, including Sunday nippers, training sessions, as well as at carnivals.  All members will receive a hi-vis rashie on presentation of registration receipt. 

The only other purchase you will have to make is a surf club cap, which must be worn at all times during surfclub activities so that the children can be easily identified both in the water and on the beach. These are available at the apparel shop, costing $15 each. Click on the link below to view other Apparel items.

For children 8 years and over, they may also register for carnivals (the first carnival of the season is the Sydney Water Series Round 1 on Saturday 7 November. Carnival information, including dates and fees, is provided in the link below:
